A typical Chapter 7 case can run in the
area of $950.00 to $1,200.00 plus the filing fee for a personal bankruptcy
depending on the complexity of the case. If a business is involved, the fee may
be higher.
That’s the bad news. The good news is
you do not need all of the monies up front. Typically we require a retainer fee
and we will then place you on a convenient monthly payment plan based on your
individual needs.
A Chapter 13 case
currently costs $3,500.00 plus the filing fee. A Chapter 13 case involves more
court appearances as they require a three to five yr. period of time for
completion of the plan. Usually a $1000.00 retainer fee is required with the
balance of fees and costs paid through the Chapter 13 plan.
